SLP – HRM402 Training and Development: Training Methods; Implementation of Training – Homework Solution
SLP Assignment
You were introduced to several training methods on the Background page in this Module, some you perhaps opted to use in your course project:
Technical Quality
Skills
Soft skills
Professional and Legal Team
Managerial Safety
You also learned about training delivery methods of:
On-the-job coaching Mentoring
Brown bag lunch Web-based

For this SLP assignment, you will put these two concepts together. Begin by selecting two of the eight training methods and match them to two different training delivery methods, utilizing all four delivery methods. You will address the following questions in a 2- to 3-page paper about training and training delivery methods for your final course project:
Why did you select the training delivery methods for each of the two training methods?
What are the pros and cons of the training methods for the matched delivery methods?
Bring in at least two valid and reliable sources found outside of your course materials. (Be sure to cite sources within the text of your paper as well as list each in the Reference section.) These two
high-quality sources should come from peer-reviewed academic journals found in the Trident Online Library. Organize your paper with the following five headings: assignment title, training and
delivery methods, pros and cons, conclusion, and references. Note that headings are in bold text. Also note that there is no heading of “Introduction”. The first paragraph is always the introduction to a paper.
As you select two outside sources for SLP 3, you may find the following helpful to determine which sources to include:
Herring, J. E. (2011). Chapter 3: Evaluating websites, Figure 3.1, p.
- In Improving students’ web use and information literacy: a guide for teachers and teacher librarians. Facet Publishing. Available in the Trident Online Library, EBSCO eBook Collection.

Lack, C. W., & Rousseau, J. (2016). Chapter 4: What is critical thinking? In Critical thinking, science, and pseudoscience: Why we can’t trust our brains. Springer Publishing Company. Available in the Trident Online Library, EBSCO eBook Collection.
